Lake - Norman Barefoot Skiing

Sherrills Ford, NC - Becky Welch comes up barefeet first before looping around the lake at 35-36 mph. Welch started water skiing about one year ago. It was her first time in the barefoot competition.. The 33rd Annual Lake Norman New Years Day Barefoot Challenge began just after noon Saturday, despite a morning fog that blanketed the lake.
