01/01/2011 Sherrills Ford, NC - (lft-rt) Russ Frase of Tega Cay and Danny Richardson of Kernersville suit up for the Barefoot Challenge.. The 33rd Annual Lake Norman New Years Day Barefoot Challenge began just after noon Saturday, despite a morning fog that blanketed the lake.
