Michael Knox knows many of the people that pass by the Cornelius home where he has lived for 20 years. He always waves whether he knows them or not. Many wave back.
Knox grew up in the Cornelius area not far from a Main St. that has changed so much right before his eyes.
His front porch remains the same, however, with him on it, waving at the world as it rushes by.
