(lft-rt) Artists Thibault Tosseram and Brenda Councill work on the mural in the dome of the Core Lab at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis. The mural stretches 22 feet high, and the total painted surface covers 2,511 feet. Councill, who is based in Blowing Rock, said it is the 35th and largest dome she has painted in her more than 30-year career. The fruits and vegetables theme comes from David Murdock, who owns Dole Food and whose campus is focusing on health and nutrition. © The Charlotte Observer/L.MUELLER 2007
